    Doug Mallers
    PT, OCS, FAAOMPT

    Doug attended Indiana University's Physical Therapy Program where he graduated in 1992. Six years later, he received a post grad Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the Gulf Coast Graduate School of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy in Gulfport, MS.

    Currently, he is a member of the American Academy Examination Board. He is also a faculty member for the Manual Therapy Institute where he instructs physical therapists in the practice of orthopaedic physical therapy. In his off hours, Doug enjoys sports and spending time with his wife and two boys.

  • Trenton Swoverland
    Trenton Swoverland
    PT, OCS, FAAOMPT

    Trenton attended Indiana University, graduating from the Physical Therapy program in 1992. Seven years later, he obtained his Board Certification in Orthopaedics when tested by the American Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. He continued his education by becoming a Certified Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapist in 2002 from North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists.

    As of 2005, he has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is a Clinical Fellowship Instructor with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapist instructing physical therapists in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Trenton is also certified in Functional Dry Needling.

    When Trenton is not at work, he is usually found with his wife and four children, at a sporting event, at the gym, or involved with church. He enjoys assisting or watching his children's extra-curricular activities.

    Lisa Saxe

    Lisa joined the practice in 2007 and was made partner in 2013. She graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She earned her manual therapy certification (MTC) in 2004 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and completed the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2012. In her off hours, Lisa loves spending time with her daughter Ellie and son Finn. Lisa is very involved in her children's activities, she enjoys watching Ellie compete in gymnastics and Finn play football. Lisa's other favorite pastimes are running, watching IU basketball, and the Green Bay Packers football.

  • Paula Noll
    Paula Noll
    PT, MHS, DPT, FAAOMPT

    Paula joined the practice in January of 2007. She graduated from The Chicago Medical School in 1988. She has been practicing orthopaedic physical therapy since that time. She completed her post-professional master's degree from the University of Indianapolis in 1997. She completed her manual therapy residency and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007 and completed her fellowship with the Ola Grimsby Institute in late 2008. Paula is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation. In her free time, Paula enjoys knitting, silversmithing, running and spending time with her husband.

    Rebecca, a Fort Wayne native, joined the practice in Feb. 2009. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Coastal Carolina University in May 1999. She attended graduate school at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in December 2002. Rebecca also earned her Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine in January 2004. In her spare time, Rebecca loves spending time with her family and she stays busy and enjoys attending her daughter's and son's activities. She also enjoys running, riding roller coasters and traveling, especially somewhere with a beach.

    Allison Loudenback

    Allison, a Ft Wayne native, joined the team in May 2017. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis in May 2017 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Allison is currently studying for her orthopaedic manual therapy certification through the Manual Therapy Institute. She enjoys traveling and spending time outside. Most of Allison's free time revolves around the 4 Fs: faith, family, friends and football.

    Kristin joined Mallers & Swoverland in 2015 as a staff physical therapist, but worked for the practice 10 years prior as a technician while attending the University of Saint Francis. There she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology while playing collegiate softball. Following graduation Kristin attended Indiana University on the IUPUI campus to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, which she completed in 2010.

    Kristin has experience working in acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and skilled nursing facilities, but she has spent the majority of her career working in the outpatient orthopedic field. Kristin is a certified orthopedic manual therapist through Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. Outside of work, Kristin loves spending time with her family and friends. Kristin loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys most anything outdoors, working in her family business, and traveling.

  • Luci Boar
    Lucian Boar
    PT, DPT Cert. DN/SMT, CF-L1

    Lucian "Luci" joined the team at Mallers & Swoverland in November 2019. He was born in Sibiu, Romania and grew up in Detroit, MI. He received a degree in Health Science/Pre-Physical Therapy from Oakland University and later on graduated from Trine University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While completing his DPT, Lucian obtained post-graduate certifications in Spinal Manipulative Therapy as well as Dry Needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He also received mentorship and specialized training which focused on musculoskeletal differential diagnosis and treatment of complex neuromusculoskeletal disorders, specifically those involving the spine and back. Lucian especially became interested in learning about the spine and physical therapy due to his own experience of having back surgery in 2015 - he is able to relate to patients on a more personal level because of his own personal experience. Lucian enjoys working with those who have cervical and spine pain, TMJ dysfunction, headaches, migraines, and those who are needing sports rehabilitation. He thoroughly enjoys challenging his patients with new activities and exercises to make sure that they are ready to safely participate in activities or skills they want to achieve. Not only is Lucian a Physical Therapist, but he is also a CrossFit Level 1 coach at a local gym where he programs the warm-ups and workouts for the classes. When he isn't working as a Physical Therapist or coaching at the gym, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend doing outdoor activities and watching sports, working out, and practicing his Olympic weightlifting and gymnastics skills.     Office Manager

    Jackie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Ball State University. She joined Mallers & Swoverland in September of 2004 and became the practice Office Manager in January 2015. Outside of the office, Jackie enjoys spending time with her fiancé & girls, running, participating in bible study at Pathway Community Church, and is actively involved in Serving Simply on Saturday nights.

    Adrienne is a Fort Wayne native, who graduated from Ivy Tech in 2007 with an Associate's degree in Medical Assisting. Adrienne has worked at Mallers and Swoverland since 2005 and is the administrative assistant at the SW clinic. Adrienne and her husband Chris have a 2 year old daughter named Haven. Her family also has two dogs, Marley, a goldendoodle and Lacey, a cocker spaniel. In her free time Adrienne enjoys playing with her daughter, playing softball and volleyball, running, being outdoors with her family and watching College Football, esp Notre Dame and Indiana. In the summer months, her family goes 4wheeling and in the winter months, they go snowmobiling, primarily in Michigan. Adrienne always enjoys being with both sides of her families and loves quality time. Recently, Adrienne joined Scout & Cellar as a consultant selling clean crafted wine.

    Judy is the administrative assistant at our Northeast clinic. She joined our team in June of 2015. Judy came to Mallers & Swoverland with previous experience working at a regional medical billing office, where she also trained employees in customer service. When she isn't working, Judy enjoys spending time with her husband and family, playing the violin, reading, and taking long walks.

    Angela joined the practice in November 2015 at our North location. She has a strong work background in medical insurance and finance administration. She has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Office Administration from Ivy Tech Community College. Angela is a wife and mother of 3. In her pastime she enjoys reading, singing at church, spending time with her family & taking long family road trips.

    Amanda joined the team at Mallers & Swoverland in January of 2018, as one of the Administrative Assistants at the North Office. Amanda moved from Garrett to Ft. Wayne in 2007. She attended Ivy Tech. She enjoys time with her husband, telling jokes and her faith in God.

    Sara joined the team at Mallers & Swoverland in February of 2019, after moving back to the Ft. Wayne area. Sara, a graduate of Homestead High School, grew up in Ft. Wayne but has resided in Valparaiso since graduating from Indiana University in 1990. She has a BA in Advertising with a minor in Studio Art, and has worked as the Marketing & Development Coordinator for The Caring Place domestic violence shelter prior to joining Mallers & Swoverland. In her free time, Sara enjoys yoga, sports, traveling and spending time with her three kids and family/friends. She is happy to be part of such a great group at M&S.
